If you want to slow it down, just put a word in the address 28472 following the traditional form of the Spectrum: low byte, high byte. The original value is 10000, so: 20000 would be half as fast, which corresponds to 28472,32 and 28473,78. 30000 would be a third, with values 28472,48 and 28473,117. And so on.
